Wyken Basin Moorings

Coventry Canal Society provide moorings for members' boats at their Wyken Basin headquarters. The moorings are situated at the heart of the canal system and provide some forty miles of lock free cruising on the Coventry, Ashby and Oxford canals.

The societies headquarters are situated in the Bert Dunckley building which also doubles as a venue for social events.

Moorers are required to undertake work parties throughout the year and at least one canal clearance duty aboard narrow boat Panther. Moorers are also expected to support the society whenever possible and purchase their British Waterways Boat Licence through the Society. This enables the Society to provide a secure environment, with all facilities, at a very competitive price.
